Instructor: Erinn FitzGerald
Title: Slow Flow: Strength, Alignment & Stability
Day & Time: Tuesdays 8 AM
Description: This class is appropriate for many levels of experience and all bodies that have a basic understanding of yoga postures. A mindful and slow-paced Vinyasa inspired practice. Meditative movement through poses to unwind embodied tension and stress, strengthen connection to the breath, and build stamina. The evolving class sequence offers poses with longer holds and may include the use of props to increase strength, alignment, stability, and facilitate a deeper understanding of each posture. Movement drawn from generalized fitness and prevention/recovery techniques may be integrated to support a well-informed range of mobility.
This class may be additionally beneficial for those aspiring to slowly incorporate movement at the start of their day, identify as an athlete (past/present), and cross-train.
